Route Overview

The Marangu Route is one of the most famous and historic routes on Mount Kilimanjaro. Known as the “Coca-Cola Route,” it is the only route offering mountain hut accommodation instead of camping, making it a comfortable option for trekkers seeking a classic Kilimanjaro experience.

This route follows a gradual ascent through rainforest, moorland, alpine desert, and finally to the icy summit of Uhuru Peak (5,895m).
