AFRICAN SAFARI
Madagascar is a world apart — an island where 90% of the wildlife exists nowhere else on Earth. From lemurs leaping through spiny forests to the iconic silhouettes of the Avenue of the Baobabs, Madagascar offers a safari experience defined by the strange and the singular.
There are other attractions in Madagascar than lemurs. However, we must acknowledge that they are among our favorites. This island, which is located in the Indian Ocean off the coast of Mozambique, is home to almost 80% of the world’s species of plants and animals, which is a truly astounding figure.
It is incredibly satisfying to take a trip through the forests of Perinet and Ranomafana in search of the shrill Indri or the charming ring-tailed lemur. Smaller animals along the road, such the colorful chameleons, frogs, orchids, and butterflies, as well as a variety of strange and amazing insects, like stick insects and praying mantises, are just as fascinating. Additionally, there are the majestic mountains, French-style Creole cuisine, and the magnificent shoreline.
